Ten Best Bang Tvs What's The Best Way To Get The Feeling Of Local Culture In Thailand?

What's the best way to get the feeling of local culture in Thailand? - ten best bang tvs

We come in Bang kok, 18 June and from the same Stadt 2 July. We are planning two days in Bang Kok (in relation to spend on things to do and see and sell the house for my girlfriend. Yes, I am interested in digital cameras and electronics) and the remaining ten days on the island of Koh Samui. The drafting of the "culture" in my question, which I understand I may be, the store I (the kind of person who was on the beach all day) to try the strange and bizarre things, places to visit or buy things . I am planning to rent a car and the engine it would be much more fun to drive opinion new car, but a local, old or public (or at least 4x4). We love luxury, but it would be much better to rent a small wooden hut (Beach House) on the coast. We are in the mountains, boat, bicycle, try the local cuisine, meet local people, etc. Thank you in advance;)

I spent a month in Thailand from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and also in Koh Samui. Thailand is so poor that you have a cultural experience, no matter what. In Bangkok, I recommend taking a tuk tuk around, you can not miss European Championship, only three-wheeled car. I also see the palace and the reclining Buddha. Make sure to take the water taxi. These can be found under the bridge and nearly all are marked. If you find one, do not take the first, just to see what everyone does at the entrance to the ON / OFF. Unit do not really see what is needed and not a quick on / off, or fall into water sewagey very unpleasant. once with a gallon drum sitting fifty is the fuel tank, but you want a cultural experience, is not it?
I think that two or a day trip is good to Bangkok to visit the ancient capital, now in ruins, Ayutthaya. very beautiful and nice to see the ancient ruins. even in a small town, a few people speak English and rarely have menus do not. There are monks around the ruins, so you can talkand interesting.
Koh Samui, I rented a car with friends. 4x4, there are few teams are everywhere and relatively inexpensive. I do not know how to find a way to the mountains, but was really a breeze, I do not think there are many ways to discover. Moreover, by this, I very strongly recommended to see the falls. are not as crowded and if you go all the way up, only to swim in a pool with cold water under a waterfall in the jungle. one of the leading travel insurance.
However, I would say that as a general theme of your trip not stay in Bangkok and Phuket. remain in places that remain the heart of things and in small towns, where it will not as likely to be a McDonalds.
enjoy!

Engine is not pleasant, I am) a student and friend of accidents on (more than in the United States. It is also slow and prone to clogging due to unknown reasons. You will also find many old cars. May I suggest the train engine? They have a First Class cabin (2-bed cabin, sink ...) where you can sit and watch the country go out to eat, read, can ... This is not expensive and often meet the locals a better average, which means that they often speak English.
I recommend kayaking to Krabi (near where they shot "The Man With The Golden Gun"), with many rock towers. You can climb on the same needle. Scuba is as good as or hiking.
Samui is a place to relax on the beach, oh, and the party. Pretty surfy as in the Gulf of possibilities.

This is probably not the answer you are looking for, but here goes. I do not think that you will be able to get a real sense of local culture over time, it is in Thailand. The best way to enjoy a short time, and I know that sounds strange, you have all the tourist material and do not venture off the beaten track. All tourist activities, which is at least an abbreviated version of the culture, are easier to digest. Breaking into real Thai culture takes time. If you can stray too far from the tourist trail a little tired, their first reactions to the "real Thailand. Beyond tourism, tourism is not always greeted with a smile in the" Land of Smiles. "Local people outside the tourism industry does not want to fulfill.

Whether for radar and electronics industries go, I do not know where you are, but the electronics are much cheaper in the United States. With tax incentives that Thailand places on these topics might find better conditions elsewhere.

Please stay away from rental car. I am aI'm an avid pilot, but after years of living in Thailand, not traveling. Transport is cheap and easily accessible. Driving and parking is a royal pain in the kingdom.

I hope this does not seem too negative, I love living in Thailand, I only see things for what they are. If I can help, please let me know. Enjoy your trip.

Well, a lot of questions here .. Looks like you have decided to spend the most time in Samui .. A tourist on the beach type of place .. Excursions for tourists, etc., but not too much "stuff" local real .. OK - Shopping for Electronics, Panthip in BKK, but computers, cameras, etc.. probably less than or equal to that of the United States, if your place of origin .. everything else is on the weekend Mkt - chat or even known as Chuck JJ .. mkt The tourist areas are expensive [rip off in the cart] .. Go Travel is easy, the people are friendly - if you want to venture into remote areas - - Well, I live in the province of Tak, and it is a beautiful hotel in Class 1 for 900 baht or $ 22 or less is w / Buffet. . Bkfst very nice places, you can for € 12 .. There are spectacular waterfalls - Umphang, not too far .. and the world much smaller hidden places that are so peaceful and beautiful .. There is much joy in the music room at Thai BKK .. but very few people travel on the roads .. It is a shame .. OK - now Enuf - if you want to know more, send me an e-mail .. kenk2424@yahoo.com
